We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
Our Chapter carries out this mission by – Providing Chapter Service Officers to assist Veterans in VA claims filing needs, property reconstruction projects for disabled Veterans, and foster teamwork in community development.
Disabled American Veterans - Bill Kinnard Chapter #92 Victorville, Ca.
Bill Kinnard Chapter #92 was established on Sept 8th, 1975, by local Veterans of the Victorville, California, High Desert area. Those original 25 members decided to name our Chapter after Bill Kinnard, a 20-year-old man who perished on the battlefield of the Vietnam War in 1967. Bill bravely paid the ultimate price for our country’s freedoms while serving in the Army’s 101st Airborne Infantry Division.
